Time Out Market Downtown Montreal

Time Out Market Downtown Montreal

Since its opening in 2019, the Time Out Market has been a huge hit.  showcasing over 20 restaurants and bars, there is something for everyone. The Time Out Market showcases some of the city's most popular restaurants for you to indulge in. The Time Out Market also plays host to many shows and events. Over time, I have tried many of the restaurants, and I have a few favorites to share with you today. from Le Taj to Campo. Check out some of my favorites below.

Il Miglio

Address: 705 Rue Sainte-Catherine O, Montréal, QC H3B 4G5

Phone: (514) 360-3069

Among Italian cuisine’s most notable virtues, attention to quality reigns particularly supreme—it’s what turns something as simple as a meatball, a ladleful of sauce, or a roasted vegetable into a bite that really sings, and the first-rate chefs of Le Club Chasse et Pêche have the skills to make that happen at Il Miglio. At this eatery, Italian cuisine’s calling cards of fresh pasta and seasonally-based dishes of antipasti are delivered in wonderfully delicious ways. Buon appetito!

Le Blossom

Address: 705 Rue Sainte-Catherine O, Montréal, QC H3B 4G5

Phone: (514) 370-3883

It’s all about the flash of a knife, a steady hand, and the heat of an open flame on Le Blossom’s menu for Time Out Market. Expect a greatest-hits selection from this local favorite in the city’s Village, including platters of pressed and torched oshizushi, fresh sashimi and savory maki, loaded-to-burst poke bowls, and endless plates of Japanese yatai-style street food with Montreal twists. Whether it’s their plating or their palate, everything pops with colour here and has the taste to match.

Campo Portuguese Chicken

Campo Portuguese Chicken

Address: 705 Rue Sainte-Catherine O, Montréal, QC Phone: (514) 370-3883

From our first taste of the Ferreira family’s Portuguese chicken coming hot off its smoking grills when it opened in 2016 to every delicious bite today, this fine-tuned churrascaria has consistently delivered quality time and again. From their local sourcing of grain-fed birds to the moment they’re marinated for 24 hours in piri piri sauce before being fired off, this eatery has firmly set a bar for casual dining downtown. As the latest in an ongoing series of revered dining destinations, there’s no doubt that the Ferreiras are Montreal’s top ambassadors for quality Portuguese food.

Le Taj Indian Cuisine

Address: 705 Rue Sainte-Catherine O, Montréal, QC

Phone: (514) 370-3883

Open since 1985, Le Taj is one of the city’s premiere destinations for Indian fine dining, an institution of immense staying power because of the Montreal spin it brings to every dish on its tables. From an airy naan swiped with butter to an irresistibly creamy butter chicken—and every tandoor-roasted kebab and plate of Delhi-style biryani in between—each of their mouthwatering diasporic takes on Northern Indian cuisine is a story of romancing locals without sacrificing sophistication. Eating from Le Taj’s kitchen is an essential local experience.
