Visit Pigeon Cafe for its beautiful summer patio and stay for the delicious coffee. Pigeon Cafe ranks among my top 10 favourite spots for lattes in Montreal. Not only is the coffee great, but the rest of the menu is spectacular. Pigeon has the best pancakes and waffle fries.

One of the best spots for coffee on Monkland Ave is Melk Cafe. When you visit, you will find a packed cafe with students and friends and a room filled with laughter and conversation. Melk Cafe also has delicious baked goods; I highly recommend the blueberry and chocolate scones. They are located at 5612 Monkland Ave., which is less than 5 minutes away from the Villa-Maria metro. Melk Cafe has alternate locations in downtown Montreal with similar menus and ambiance.

Whenever I visit, my go-to drink is a hot latte paired with a chocolate muffin. Columbus Cafe has multiple locations in and around Montreal, especially in the downtown area. The prices are very reasonable. super friendly staff and tons of space for seating.
