Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse Schaumburg, IL.
This was my first time visiting Fogo De Chao, and to be honest, I was initially skeptical. However, this restaurant has truly topped my list this year. The food was amazing, and the restaurant's decor is top-notch.
Fogo De Chao has several locations throughout Illinois that are easily accessible and can accommodate small and large groups. This restaurant features an all-you-can-eat menu, a comprehensive salad bar, and delectable roasted premium meats served directly at your table.
The delectable meats are complemented by bite-sized appetizers that are served directly at your table. My evening was delightful from start to finish, and I am excited to share my experience with you. PASSIONATE CAIPIRINHA
Silver Cachaça, passion fruit, limes. 370 cal text goes here
I love to try a new drink whenever I visit a restaurant for the first time. Fogo's drink menu consists of beer, wine, cocktails, and Brazilian bebidas. I ended up trying the PASSIONATE CAIPIRINHA and will give it a solid 7/10.
The first one was made well, the passion fruit was tasty, and the mixture was very balanced. I ordered a second one, but it didn’t quite match the quality of the first. Overall, the drink is delicious and has a unique flavour. The cost for this drink was $10 before taxes.

The Churrasco Experience
For more than a century, the Culinary Art of Churrasco, or cooking over an open flame, has been skillfully mastered by the Gaucho Chefs of Brazil. Our Gauchos carefully butcher, simply season and fire-roast each cut to seal in the natural flavours, producing a salty bark and creating a unique and unforgettable culinary experience.

Market Table and Brazilian sides.
The first thing that they bring out are complimentary sides straight to your table. These are in addition to the full salad bar that is available during dinner. Some of those sides are cheese puffs, plantains, yuca fries, and cheesy bread with hot honey.
"The sides that I enjoyed the most were the cheesy bread with honey and the fried plantain with yuca fries."
The Churrasco Experience
Now for the exciting part. Fogo de Chão offers two different dinner options; we ended up choosing the "Full Churrasco" at a cost of $65 per person. After sampling the side dishes, we hit the salad bar.
The open salad bar has a spread of fresh veggies, various salads, cheese, fresh deli meats, soups, and breads. I started off with a fresh Caesar salad topped with dressing, prosciutto, and cheese.
The salad bar gets a solid 9/10. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Another great thing about the menu at Fogo De Chao is that it also offers entrees that can be ordered directly from the menu. They offer various seafood items on the starter menu and premium steaks and chicken dishes for the entrees. I ended up getting a few plates from the salad bar, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything. If there is one thing I recommend, it would be the salads and deli meats.

.Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse
The system to serve the meats at Fogo is quite unique. We each got a flip card to inform the waiters when we were ready for the meat to be served.
I am not a lover of red meat, but I will admit that I tried their roasted beef, and the taste was incredible. It was nice and crispy on the outside and cooked to perfection. I also like the chicken legs and bacon-wrapped sirloin. My least favourite was the chicken breast. The flavour was a little bland and lacked any spices.
The experience will leave you wanting more. I will definitely visit. Fogo de Chão again, as I had a great experience. The service was truly top-notch, and I loved the decor. I was a little afraid to spend $65, as I do think it is a little expensive, but visiting once in a while is worth it.
