Dessert Cafe MOMO Monkland Ave Montreal
One of the best Korean dessert cafes in Montreal is Dessert Cafe Momo. Located at 5525 Monkland Ave, Cafe Momo is less than a five-minute walk from the Villa-Marie metro station in the heart of NDG. Cafe Momo is a family-owned business that has been serving customers for the past 9 years.
Cafe Momo boasts an impressive 4.7-star rating on Google and has become a staple on Monkland Avenue. This lively street is also home to an array of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and cafes. This cafe is renowned for its delicious bingsu and innovative takes on traditional Korean sweets. Cafe Momo boasts an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delightful treat after exploring the vibrant neighbourhood.
I have tried many of their delicious cakes and desserts and give them a solid 10/10. This Korean dessert cafe is the original bingsoo cafe in Montreal, and it has quickly become a favourite among locals and visitors alike. With its unique offerings and cozy ambience, it's no wonder that people often find themselves returning for another indulgent experience. The menu at Dessert Cafe MoMo features cakes, macaroons, lattes, and bingsoo. My favourite desserts are their cakes; I have tried many and can't get enough. The flavours of cake at Cafe Momo are strawberry, green tea, and Oreo. Additionally, they offer fresh blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu.
They also sell custom birthday cakes that can be ordered for your special day. Let me be the first to say that besides Cafe-RiYue, this cafe ranks in the top 5 in Montreal. All of their cakes are incredibly fresh and tasty. I have always felt satisfied with their product and customer service.

If you're visiting Montreal or live near the Monkland Village area, make sure to stop by Café Dessert MoMo for delicious Korean-inspired desserts and a cozy café experience. The staff are very friendly, and the cakes are a 10/10 in my opinion. A slice of cake now costs more than $8, which I find a little expensive, but the portions and selection make this dessert shop a fun place to visit.
The café offers both indoor and outdoor seating during the summer. Seating is limited, so it can get busy during peak hours. The small patio at the front of the café is a nice option for enjoying your dessert alone or with a small group when the weather is warm.
Despite the limited seating, Café Dessert MoMo has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a casual meet-up with friends. I also enjoyed the vibrant décor, which adds a fun touch to the experience and makes the café feel lively while you enjoy your desserts.
