Description
All our poke bowls are made with avocado, cucumber, green onion, tempura, Japanese spices, Japanese mayo, sesame and choice of base.
Ingredients
Chicken, mango, lettuce, radish, teriyaki and ponzu sauce, spicy light mayo, nori.
The poke bowl that I ordered to go was karage chicken and mango for $15.99 before taxes. The portion, in my opinion, was perfect for one person. The base was brown rice, and the accompanying vegetables were avocado, cucumber, green onion, mango, tempura, mayo, sesame, and Japanese spices. The meat was fried chicken coated in teriyaki and ponzu sauce. This bowl was a solid 8/10. I loved that all of the ingredients were fresh and that the sauces accompanied the chicken well.
At most establishments in Montreal, poke bowls typically start at $15, but these usually include only tuna and vegetables, rather than meat or teriyaki chicken. Sushi Shop offers approximately 15 different poke bowls available on their website. Most locations have a consistent menu featuring the same items and promotions; it’s advisable to confirm with the staff before placing your order.

I highly recommend visiting Sushi Shop. The menu is very straightforward, and even though the prices have increased over the years, they are still very affordable. The atmosphere at Sushi Shop is both vibrant and welcoming, making it an excellent choice for casual dining or a quick takeout meal. With such a diverse menu, there is something to satisfy every palate. While I wouldn't classify Sushi Shop as gourmet, it offers a satisfying option for lunch and dinner at a reasonable price.
