One of the best breakfast and brunch restaurants in downtown Montreal is Eggspectation-Maisonneuve. They have an "All Day Menu" that is very affordable and has tons of options to choose from. Eggspectation is the perfect place to enjoy on a Saturday morning with friends. I have visited this location many times and greatly enjoy the breakfast.
The best part in my opinion is the outdoor patio and the vibrant atmosphere it offers. It's a delightful spot to soak up the sun while indulging in their delicious eggs Benedict or a stack of fluffy pancakes. Eggspectation has a diverse menu and tons of options to choose from. The most popular items are the classic benedicts, smoked salmon, high-rise pancakes, and omelets. Eggspectation also has their classic burgers, sandwiches, and pasta on the menu to enjoy at any time. The menu at Eggspectation is very unique; the restaurant has an "All Day Menu" that features breakfast classics, salads, burgers for lunch, sandwiches, and delicious omelettes. If you love a classic breakfast, then you must give it a try. The Eggstraordinary includes two eggs, prepared any style; choice of brioche French toast, buttermilk pancakes, waffles, or crepes with pure maple syrup; a choice of ham, bacon, or sausage; and our Lyonnaise-style potatoes. Solid 10/10. The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the ingredients truly elevates the meal. I left feeling satisfied with the food and service during each visit. I am very eager to return for another breakfast experience.
