Fusilli with rose sauce, crispy prosciutto and mushrooms
I dined at Bevo and can honestly say that there were numerous options available on the menu. The restaurant offers a selection of pizzas, pastas, antipastos, and desserts, making it easy to find something for every taste. I ultimately chose the Rosata con Ricotta e Funghi, which features fusilli pasta with rose sauce, crispy prosciutto, and mushrooms. This dish is currently priced at $30 per plate.
While this price may seem a little expensive, the Old Montréal area tends to be pricier overall, and this cost is still competitive compared to other restaurants nearby. The food arrived promptly, and the portion of pasta was generous, accompanied by an enticing aroma that immediately made me excited to try it.
I would rate this dish a solid 7/10. The rose sauce was thick, creamy, and full of flavour, while the crispy prosciutto added a delicious savoury element. However, the amount of prosciutto was a little overwhelming and took away from the balance of the dish. Overall, it was an enjoyable pasta experience, but I believe the flavours could have been better balanced.
I am big on desserts, and to end my experience at Bevo Bar + Pizzeria, I decided to try their key lime pie from the dessert menu. The presentation alone was a 10/10. The pie looked beautiful, with a delicate crust and a perfect balance of sweet and zesty flavours.
The portion size was ideal for one person, and the taste was absolutely divine. Each bite offered a delightful balance of tartness and creaminess, making it a refreshing way to finish the meal. The key lime flavour stood out, and the crust added a wonderful texture to the dessert.
The only issue I had was with the cocoa powder sprinkled on top. While it added a unique touch, I found the flavour to be a little too overpowering and, in my opinion, it did not complement the pie as well as expected.
Bevo’s current dessert menu also features their house tiramisu, Triple Chocolate BeVO, cheesecake, and Nutella pizza, offering plenty of sweet options for dessert lovers.

Linguini with clams, white wine sauce and micro herbs
During my visit to Bevo Bar + Pizzeria, my friends also had the opportunity to try two other dishes from the menu: the Parma in Bianco ($28) and the Linguini Alle Vongole ($36). Both dishes received great reviews from my dining companions, who absolutely loved the flavours and presentation.
The Parma in Bianco stood out for its comforting Italian flavours, while the Linguini Alle Vongole impressed with its classic seafood elements. My friends raved about both dishes and enjoyed the quality of the ingredients and the overall taste.
Although I did not personally order these dishes, their reactions spoke for themselves. Both plates looked beautifully prepared and are definitely worth considering if you are exploring the pasta options at Bevo Bar + Pizzeria.
