I have sampled a variety of doughnuts from Krispy Kreme, and in my opinion, the best options are the chocolate iced, custard-filled, and original glazed varieties. To me, a perfect doughnut is light and fluffy without being overly sweet. Strong contenders for the runner-up would be the chocolate-iced glazed and the powdered strawberry-filled donuts. Pairing any of these with their classic coffee creates a delightful combination.
